Les Bénévoles

Human-sized puppet animation / All audience

The Volunteers are back in action!

They’re available, dedicated, eager, a little intrusive, but full of goodwill……
HOW CAN YOU DO WITHOUT THEM?
A bunch of zealous do-gooders, serving the community.
These human-sized puppets blend into the public space and try to make themselves useful, with their characteristic professional amateurism.
They have the best of intentions, and with unfailing dedication, they make disarming efforts to carry out their mission: to simplify
your life, willingly or not!

The press:
… These little oldsters are touching and funny!
Determined to be visible again, taking advantage of their new-found freedom, these elderly people, perhaps too confined in recent months, ready to do anything to ensure that physical distance measures are respected to the centimetre, check that their hands are clean and that they are wearing masks, and invade with delight, in groups of 2, 3 or 4, the natural gathering places that are markets, streets or shopping centers… We ask for more, and we recommend it!
It was high time to bring these Volunteers out of their sweet lethargy, so that they could once again share their heroic, age-old skills with the world… These characters, created in 2005, have been seen in the streets of Namur, Brussels, Paris, Porto or Hanoi… and they’re back with us at last!
