La Clé du 7 ème gives access to a few selected moments in the life of a puppet. In his studio, Jean reveals some of his creations and intimate scenes, displayed like erotic secrets shared through a keyhole.
In this installation-performance in the form of a cabinet of curiosities, visitors are invited on a journey of painting, live sculpture, three-dimensional tableaux, objects and feelings in a delightful mise en abîme between a puppet and its creator.
At each opening, Alain Moreau will present a short fifteen-minute form that will take one of these miniatures from the third to the fourth dimension. Unique opportunities to see an artist’s dreams come to life.
Genesis of the project :
The S-Chiusi project involved taking over unoccupied stores, creating ephemeral museums to bring new life to the city center with artistic proposals, and nurturing new forms of participation in the public space. Based on an invitation from Flavia Armenzoni of the Associazione Micro Macro in Parma, Alain Moreau imagined La Clé du 7ème (former title: Mémoire d’un trou de serrure).

“Mémoire d’un trou de serrure” – Un entresort coquin
Le public entre dans ce qui semble être un atelier d’artiste. Au centre, le marionnettiste Alain Moreau manipule l’un de ses personnages fétiches. ” Jean ” est un ami de longue date. L’imposante marionnette de taille réelle a marqué les productions du Tof Théâtre. Dans ce nouveau spectacle/installation, le vieil homme espiègle rassemble ses souvenirs. Arrivé à l’hiver de sa vie, il peint et sculpte les images qui lui restent en tête.
Derrière lui, un immense trou de serrure invite le public à pénétrer dans un autre espace. C’est un petit cabinet de curiosités qui se découvre dans l’ombre. L’exposition évoque en quelques miniatures, les souvenirs que l’artiste a pu vivre à travers un trou de serrure. Vous ne trouverez ici rien de véritablement graveleux. Tout est précieux et délicat comme un souvenir.
